Jim and Mary Bond’s place on Mount Desert Island is up for sale.
Just saw it on the Forbes website, which includes a nice reference to my book, “The Real James Bond,” for Schiffer Publishing. To be totally accurate, though… Bond and Fleming didn’t quite meet unexpectedly in Jamaica. Bond dropped in on Fleming unexpectedly at Fleming’s Goldeneye home.
